I’m just a wife, just a mom, just a girl, just a bond-servant of Christ being called out by Jesus to do something scary yet surprisingly easy. I assume it’s easy because He is guiding me and guiding this project.
I am the queen of bad choices. Of course, that was then, this is now. It’s amazing how God can change His mind toward you and make you something beautiful in spite of yourself – in spite of myself. How He can change your mindset, your bad behavior patterns and all sorts of stuff if you’ll just trust Him and allow Him to.
So, 5 kids, 2.5 grands, 2 dogs, 1 crazy cat, 1 guinea and some fish later, here I am, writing and speaking about our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Can’t wait to see what He has in store for this so-called ministry!
Love every single one of you,
Linda Kay XOXO

Hello Linda. Your prayer and fasting blog reads like a good friend. Like a prophetess you have brought to me a message from God. I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and saw on my phone something from Pinterest. I have been on a journey of spiritual growth, renewal, and healing of past pain. I’m learning life God’s way through his word, and I’m truly blessed to have a Christian counselor that works with me and prays with me. I have survived a life of abuse and abandonment. I have been carrying a load of pain and regret. I have set these heavy burdens at the foot of the cross. I was sharing with a friend just last night how I’m finding myself right back there sifting through, picking up and walking in past destructive old habits. My thought life, my tongue, my actions, my distractions all keep talking me on my shoulder. I have found great progress and relief by reading the Bible and prayer. I believe God is calling me to fast and pray. Thank you for your blog. God has used you to bring a word to me in the wee hours of the morning. Now I can get a few more winks in before my alarm awakes me for another day. God bless you and your ministry.

Rose, I’ve been where you are. May I suggest you read the book “Unashamed ” by Christine Caine. It’s really great for people who have been where we have. Prayers that you will be strengthened by God who is our strength in weakness.
